How to Help
You can assist Al Itisal Project by contributing to our fundraiser, making a donation during our book drive, or simply sharing our webpage to spread awareness.
Fundraising
In addition to our book drive, we are collecting funds to purchase materials for donation to ANKAA Project. ANKAA Project has leaned into the growth made possible from low-waste and partnership potentials. For example, the NGO has expanded to include carpentry, tailoring and jewelry making workshops so that volunteers can repurpose donated scrap materials while also developing their creative and productive skills. The success and professionalism seen in their more recent expansions has inspired us to donate materials to ANKAA's administrative team. We believe that given the proper organizational materials these various departments can optimize their functions and reach new highs in their potential. By assisting ANKAA's administrative and organizational needs we believe to have a tangible impact across all sectors (classes, workshops, and production).

Book Drive
Our goal is to collect 30 English literature books to donate to the ANKAA project. These donations are not only intended to provide language learning opportunities to their recipients but also to pave the way towards ownership, comfort, and relief.
"The greatest gift is a passion for reading. It is cheap, it consoles, it distracts, it excites, it gives you knowledge of the world and experience of a wide kind."
- Elizabeth Hardwick
If you are located in the Greater Paris Area and have English reading books that you are willing to donate, we will be collecting books through February 28. If you are interested in donating, please contact us at alitisalproject@gmail.com to schedule an appointment for pick up.
Share
You can help us help others by sharing our webpage and remaining informed on the migrant crisis. Although our project is rooted foremost in volunteer, development and donation, the power of knowledge and awareness is not to be understated. Many of the hardships faced by displaced persons are rooted in discrimination, misunderstandings, and political agenda. If we work to open discussion surrounding the migrant crisis, we can become more comfortable as we mitigate tragedy and empower cohesive communities, changing outlooks and opportunities for all.
